Fine granulation and pulverizing processes of thermoplastics, products for
the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and the food industry generally
use high-speed pulverizers such as the ZERMA PM type series. These
modular "fine grinders" are very convincing: since they offer high
precision paired with simplifed adjustment and easy adaptation to
various applications. Moreover, they work economically, demonstrating
excellent cost/performance ratio. The PM series pulverizers use a
vertical design of grinding discs. When the grinding stock is fed into
the machine, it is immediately pulverized and extracted. The extremely
short grinding process and the immediate extraction of the pulverized
stock prevents overheating. The stationary grinding disc contains a
metering unit which centrically feeds the stock into the system. The
material is pulverized between a rotating and a stationary disc. The
pulverized material is then pneumatically removed. Depending on the fnal
particle size required, the pulverized material can be conveyed to a
downstream screening machine. Depending on the application and material,
